The cost of the draw ?
« on: September 28, 2024, 08:18:56 PM »
Just looked to see if the return match tickets were available. Amazingly enough they are...but at league prices.

Greediness or oversight ? I won't be buying at that price.

Rumour has it that the price has been reduced,£15 for a full adult?
Perhaps a lunatic was simply a minority of one.

Rumours are no good, make a formal announcement, so all know the prices.

Congrats to Step 4 Gorleston for being in Mondays draw after a win on Saturday.   Think they are ground sharing at The Wellesley with Yarmouth.
What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it’s all about ?

Surely there's no reason for the ticket price to be any different from what it was on Saturday?  :dontknow:

Why should it be any difference? Same teams, same competition, same round of the competition, same costs involved for each team, same distance for supporters to travel. :dontknow:

More Police and Stewards. Is that a guess or is that a fact?

More seating? Surely that will just give the opportunity to gain more income, and is a plus (even with the state some of them are in) and not a cost.

Please don't be under the illusion that artificial pitches are maintenance free, so I can't really see where that comes into it. I also have no idea what the situation is regarding Worksop's ground, if they rent it or own it (if owned, if it's mortgage free), or if like Lynn they get it on a peppercorn rent subsided by the local taxpayer.

Surely whichever way it's looked at, it's going to be an additional financial gain for the Club and one they didn't plan to have. A Club that likes to bang the drum about being at the centre of the community. What a great opportunity to show that.

Bigger crowd likely thus more police and stewards pro rata
Seats  Need to be at a higher rate otherwise why have them and us older folk need more comfort and wil pay
Much less cost than grass especially with all the work we have had done in the last few years and money has to be put aside for the future too
Also the stadium looks to be covered by  a long term loan of £1.6 million and no surplus current assets

Limited compnaies have to at least try to make as profit or they will lose that status
We are not a trust (yet)
