Well it was certainly exciting but like Mallard has said Telford on that viewing will not be in the top half of the table. Williams, Nyahwema and Gold stood out for me. I am sure the manager will look at the playback of any video particularly in the first half where we looked mighty vulnerable at the back. There will be plenty of teams in this league who will be very able to take advantage of that situation more than Telford.

Very early days where 8 of the starting line up were not in the side last year and it will take a bit of time to get the best balance of the squad.

The price of a bottle of water went down - I was charged an outrageous £2.50 for a bottle against Chester

I really find this Telford won't be a top half team at the end of the season, quite funny, anybody who watched most KLTFC games last season would have thought we would have been well in the mix for relegation, however we dished up mostly rubbish football yet made the playoffs. Funny old game of differing opinions.

Is it Docherty or Doherty?

You've used both spellings.

Any relation to Ground Sponsors?

As I read the article it's welcome to the Docherty Walks stadium ( the new name of the Walks) Rhys Doherty.

:scarf: I was just thinking what this must be doing to young Fletcher's head, what must he be feeling. Rejected once by his home town team , given a second bight at the cherry, or so he thought, but it appears deemed surplus to requirements again, without kicking a ball in a competitive match again. :scarf:

Surely Toll has to be a better option in the squad than Gold.  Least Toll looks like he's interested.  Don't get what a Manager like Rowe sees in a Gold.  Didn't think he would fit his MO at all.  Still Rowe seems to fancy him
Correct me if I'm wrong, Gold was on contract and also on the original retained list. This was I believe released before the new gaffer arrived, yes he could send Gold out on loan if desired, but someone has to be interested in taking him on loan. Fletcher is young and on a lot less money than Gold, so therefore easier to find a loan placement, where he can be tested and gain invaluable experience.

Stamford is a step higher than Corby, so it makes sense to have him there rather than back at Corby.

Good point.

As I stated on loan, definitely a step up from Corby and hopefully experience will be gained in Fletchers development into a future player for our first team.

Fletcher has been sent out on " long term loan " to Stamford, he will train with Lynn full time still, but appears to be surplus to requirements at this moment in time. There was a lot said about Fletcher on his return to the walks, but does not appear to be in James Rowes planning for the team at this present moment. Good luck Fletcher across the border in Lincolnshire and hopefully we will see a local lad back at the Walks, in the future leading our frontline.

Wow that is a decent gig for him.
Better suited to him, a lot more northern based , better for his contact list  :scarf:

I am genuinely excited for the clubs New direction  :scarf:

:scarf: :farmer: :oldman" I have to agree, I'm more optimistic about our club and team than I have been for a year or two. Hopefully it all works out for KLTFC and the fans will see some more attack minded performances, not the drab, try and pinch a goal and hang on for a point or so we have become accustomed to in the last couple of years. I would rather lose a game having a good go at the opposition, than watching some of the dross that's been dished up lately, go for it James.  :oldman" :farmer: :scarf:

:scarf: The blue and gold scarf is definitely getting a good airing this year, after Adam Marriott's re signing, I make it 7 times it has been pictured recently. Our new manager has definitely decided to strike while the irons hot and we have a squad assembling in June, well done James, we LINNETS are not used to such early announcements about playing staff. You are definitely doing your job, now for the boys to have a break and then, soon we will be in pre season training and matches and the fans will then have a chance to do their best to encourage your newly assembled squad. :scarf:

Daz, I think he is more than capable of at least replicating what Gold or Margetts notched last season, so the bar doesn't need to be set too high.

Mall, I'm not saying he's not capable, I'm basically saying it's a big step up to this level, even from Corby, and I'm saying give the boy time to bed in at this level. Only my opinion, but don't set the lad up to fail, let's give him the support and training he was denied previously and see where it can take him.

:oldman" This is a big step up for Fletcher, we must give the lad time to settle in, he undoubtedly has the ability to score goals and with full time training and advice, I'm sure he will prove to be a huge hit with his home town team. We as fans need to realise that he will not score as freely as with Heacham or Downham as this is massively different players he will be facing. Hopefully the club nurtures this young man and he will indeed score goals for KLTFC in the near future. :oldman"

James Rowe has been employed as KLTFC manager and full time status to be retained.
Welcome James, hopefully you can help steady the ship, which is KLTFC, play attacking football, engage with the fans and most of all be honest and the crowds will return.

Are there any fans who actually want Mr Cleeve still at the club. If not, then why not just boycott all games and let him get in with it. Action speaks louder than words as they say.
This forum only represents a small percentage of Lynn fans, but if the views on here are more widespread, why would SC hang around, assuming that he is aware of the general feeling towards him.

This forum doesn't represent the supporters, a small proportion or otherwise.

It just allows supporters to post their views and opinions etc to fellow supporters.

I think you will find many loyal LINNETS have already been boycotting matches. People who used to attend all matches either cherry pick fixtures to attend now or indeed do not attend at all. The attendance figures backs this up.
