:sinking: Unless we can start scoring goals the future is looking bleak. Currently we are the 4th worst team at scoring goals

Sorry to hear the news. Remember him from years ago. Condolences to the family.

:scarf: A game of 2 halves.
The first half KL played football moving the ball around creating chances, none taken whatever happened to shoot on sight defenders recover quickly and the advantage is lost. The goal conceded was poor we let their winger work his way in from the bye line and his shot went through the defenders leg.
The second half was dominated by up and under football which we can't deal with and so stop playing creative football.

 I agree that win will do wonders for the boys confidence a 2-0 win flattered Southport as we could have scored 6 with chances that were created.Shame we were well down on the attendance.

Can't blame IC for the position we are in with no extra cash he has to work with what we have basically.
We are in a position because we cannot score goals and this is due to:
The signings made at the beginning of the season were a risk as a manager stated at the start of the season when talking about a potential roller coaster ride for the team and supporters
For long periods of the season 3 strikers have been absent and 1 returned to Australia without replacement.
The remaining striker did not score goals, now gone.
This is a robust league and our youngsters in defence have been outdone by it
We have suffered at the hands of some poor refereeing e.g. last Saturdays debacle.(Hope the FA or whoever is responsible for allocating refs get a really good negative repot on this guy).

Up and unders and brawn beat skill especially when a clear goal is not given. Lady Luck has deserted us. Was this the ref that gave Telford a penalty early in the season when the player it was awarded to was off the pitch. I am afraid we have not seen much quality from the man in the middle. Why were we not awarded a penalty in the first half when our centre forward was grabbed from behind and thrown to the ground?

:scarf: Let's keep the faith and pray etc that we start collecting more than the occasional draw.

:sinking: Without the help of TSI there would be no KLTFC finishing last season off and unless a phoenix rose over the Walks none this season!

Golds gone hooray about time. Hopefully that will free up some funds so IC can get a good replacement

:scarf: Chester ran their socks off and were ahead of KLTFC in thought and deed just as when they visited last season.

The real test will come next Saturday when Chester come to the Walks. They are always a hard team to play against. :scarf:

:scarf: Great fight back the new lads have certainly helped. Like the new centre forward unlucky not to get his first goal last night but showed nice touches and he knew how to use his physical prescence !!!.
Great to see Maza get his first goal since returning to the fold.
