Reading this forum you would think that everything relating to the Club is a disaster and made worse by people who want to spread misinformation and paint the picture black.
There is also an unhealthy obsession with Cleeve and a desperate attempt to convince people he still owns the Club based on the fact that is what companies house states at the moment. What if the share transaction has taken place and these records are just not upto date. Perhaps there should be some caution in boldly proclaiming Cleeve is still the owner.
I havent seen any comment from Cleeve himself saying he is still the owner and based on his track record would have though he would be shouting it to the press.
Why some people look to discredit the Club as fans we should remember that its better to have a Club than not and it will only succeed with everyone going in the same direction.
Good luck to the lads tomorrow night they deserve a result.

You posted that the new regime were a bit " fag packet " when in reality that would only apply to the accounting inherited from the previous owner along with a complete lack of record keeping.
Also there was a lack of planning from the new owners whereas the opposite is the truth but this will only be judged as the Club move forward with supporters remaining positive rather than look for any opportunity to find fault.
There has been comment on financial restrictions and I think the new owners said that budgets would be set and every effort would be made to stay within those budgets over the financial year. So its quite refreshing that cost savers and efficiency are being taken into account rather than just spending other peoples money before asking for more.
Cleeve in his last days at the Club made reference to other investors being interested in buying the Club however like most things Cleeve ( like the table ) were never likely to ever happen. Also the DCMS loan would make the Club unattractive to most. This loan will be an ongoing issue for years thanks to the previous owner.
And once again Cleeve has gone and continually suggesting that he may still have any ownership is false.

The forum never fails to make me smile. Only last week certain people were trying to kick up a storm about the Club because they didnt make a knee jerk reaction to the managerial situation and took time to review the best way forward as any good business person would do. And now the Club have come out and announced how we are going forward the same people who advocated giving Joe a more prolonged chance to prove himself have suggested that a week by week basis isnt good enough.
I guess if he had been given a lengthy contract or magically conjured up a new manager sitting on the shelf just waiting for the chance to come to Lynn without paying a fee like we did for Lakeland that wouldnt have been acceptable either.
And by the way it costs more to train and Lynn sport than Ely so please check your facts before misleading people.

As posted before when Michael was subbed off against Scarborough there is a issue with regard to his well being and the Club are helping him in this regard which means he may not be available in the short term.

Welcome David for your stay at Kings Lynn lets hope its a success for you and the Club. David is still only 19 and is well thought of at the Posh. Like the existing squad at Lynn these are predominately young men learning there trade and trying hard to progress their careers so lets give them are full support today.

Mal you may see it as a curt message from the Club regarding Rowes departure other people see it like this. Quoted from Gavin Caneys recent article in the free local paper " Internal and external investigations need to take place and great care has to be taken not to prejudice any proceedings that may follow as a result. Words have to be used very sensibly and with strict laws around reporting and defamation is it any wonder considerable care is being taken by the Linnets ?
The difficulty is that the court of public opinion turns quicker than it used to. A lack of comment or denouncing is now seen as cordoning. It isnt that simple "

Makes you stop and think about making anything public until all the legal implications are checked and not saying something just for the sake of it.

I find it strange that people are saying it hasnt worked out for Gyasi so far this season he is top scorer in league/ Fa cup with 7 goals in 11 games shame we dont have a few more strikers that havent " worked out ". Also there was an issue on saturday which meant he had to be subbed and nothing to do with     tactics etc. These are young men trying there best to perform for the team/club and people should be a bit more supportive at times especially in Michaels case.
Lets keep positive about this team who didnt stop trying on saturday against a team who are deservedly near the top of the league.

I think with regards to Lakeland you seem to be conveniently forgetting that he was only sacked after he publicly refused to work this season with a smaller budget than last seasons. Also I suspect the figure for his wages along with his assistant that you quoted in a post on 15th July is someway short of the actual figure. Also his reliance on northern based older players was costly in comparison with this seasons model not to mention the style of football played.

Bit of a negative take on attendances Mal so far this season. After 3 home games last season average was 1150 which included a bank holiday home game against Peterbourgh sports.
This season average is 1338 without a bank holiday home game. On average another 188 per game. Seems to me to be pretty positive and an endorsement of new squad, style of play, new owners.

Whatever is happening im confident that everything is being handled in a calm and professional manner by the new owners and there representative. Upto now they have dealt with the fallout of the chaotic legacy of Cleeve both on and off the field without any drama.
We have an exciting squad and manager and by this time next week a new director so nothing to panic about. It seems that certain people love to drop onto a subject and create a problem before it exists.
Calm and steady not knee-jerk conspiracy,  let's get behind the team today there are some very young lads out there and they deserve our support

I assume b and gold we can now agree that Cleeve has finally and legally left the building which some people had a problem accepting
Whilst people have differing views about the takeover saga the final outcome followed the information that came from the club/trust.
It's a shame that anyone with different views to your own can be blocked in your capacity as a moderator which seems a bit controlling.
However I'm sure your pursuit of your truth must not be spoilt by the facts.

Great 3 points and apparently a good performance from a young team who can only get better.  Padel ?? what a weird thing to put in a post about a football match. Care to explain Mallard what this exciting new sport is and its relevance to todays game.

Having read the Lynn News article it seems to me that the Trust members who voted strongly for the Trust to be involved with the Club under its new ownership have made a very smart choice. I quote " the club belongs to the town and the community " a dream owner for any supporters trust. Lets hope the relationship can be built on for the benefit of our Club.

Had heard at the game that Marriott got a slight injury and that might explain why he wasnt risked. Long season to come definitely a marathon not a sprint. Think Lynns pace will frighten a lot of teams and Telford having been lucky to go ahead did they best to waste as much time as possible. Overall good start lets make some real judgements after ten games.

General Discussion / Re: Programme notes

How refreshing programme notes that are positive and full of great news for the future direction of the Club. I seem to remember that they were used in the past to make public personnel grudges with various fans and became the ranting of a more and more desperate owner.
Out with the old and in with the new thanks Bal and Joe for everything you have done so far for our Club.
